Prayer Walking is a unique way to join many in prayer for the same cause.
To prayer walk you can do it in many ways. At our Revive Prayer Walk you can pray in whatever way is best for you. Some may choose to simply kneel down and pray on the steps or sidewalk. Others may join with three or four people and simply walk around the school talking to God just as if He was there walking with you asking for the same things as you would in prayer. You don't have to close your eyes or kneel down, just speak to God.
As you walk you will pray for the kids, the teachers, the staff. Some may walk alone touching the walls and doors and praying at different spots. Some may want to form larger groups and lock hands in prayer taking turns praying out loud or silently.
Prayer Walking is just as it sounds...walking and talking to God.
We truly doubt God would call His people to prayer, and when they respond, ignore them. We believe God has called us to prayer in and around our schools because God is working there to cause a change in the hearts and minds of our students, our Churches, and our communities. There is no question whether prayer will work. The question is, will we humble ourselves and prayer walk our schools. Revive only works if we are willing to show our faith through prayer.
Everyone is encouraged to attend. Students, teachers, school staff, churches, and concerned parents.
Revive Prayer Walk takes place once a month from 2:30 - 3:30 P.M. at your local high school. Some schools are allowing these walks to take place inside the high school gym. Your local coordinator will know the location.
Join in prayer walking our schools on the selected dates and times. No age limit, even if you can't get out in the cold, thats okay, come join us and simply stay in your car and pray. It is so important we show our students we are behind them in this spiritual struggle.
You may also buy a T-shirt. To find out how to purchase a shirt or sweatshirt go to the Store section. We believe showing our support by advertising Revive is very important to get the word out.
Many Christian students feel they are among the minority and have become silent in their Christian walk at school. They feel outnumbered and disheartened to speak up and stand for their beliefs. One goal is to give those Christian students unity by bringing them together in the prayer walk and through the Revive shirts. Also, the stronger support they see at our prayer walks, the more bold they will become.
Only God knows, but we believe REVIVE may spread as God calls on his people to join Him as He works in our schools. We hope this website and anything we have done in preparation can be duplicated across America. If you are interested in starting this in your area go to Start Your Own section.
We also believe if we respond to Revive our student's faith will be dramatically strengthened as they watch others walk by faith and see God work in their lives. This could be an amazing life long teaching lesson on how God works and how important prayer is in our lives.

To see a reviving of the Christian Students, for renewal of our school and for changing the hearts of the students to be strong and turn from drugs, alcohol, sexual immorality and other life destroying activities. To see the lost come to Christ. To see God take back our schools from satan's control and show His Glory so that all will know He is working. To see more than just our schools be transformed but also our churches and community.
